This morning at 9:10 my life changed a little for the better. I got a phone call from the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton asking me if I was still interested in one of the 3 FULL TIME positions for a central sterile technician that I applied for on June 1. I had a mouthful of yogurt and had to let the voice mail grab that call for me, but I called back and said YES!!!!!! I was then asked if I would be willing to do a telephone interview at 11:30 this morning. Again, I said YES!!!!! Sooooooo, where does this leave me now??? It leaves me waiting. Waiting after a VERY GOOD half hour interview on the phone for a decision to be made on whether or not the Royal Alex Hospital team wants me or not. And when they asked me in the interview if I had applied around the Lethbridge area (where I currently am) I said yes, and that I haven't heard a peep out of anyone here, all they said to me was "Well, it's their loss and our gain." WOW!!!!! That makes me happy!
Also.... I FINALLY got my diploma from Lethbridge College in the mail today. My diploma says that I have been "awarded this credential of Academic Achievement in Central Sterile Processing" WHOO HOO!!!! I'm a college graduate and now officially an alumni of Lethbridge College. YAY ME!!!!!
I'm sooooo ready for this change in my life to happen. I'm ready to move from this "get nowhere" city. Ready to get away from this city that's afraid of change.
Sooooooo.... now my life is in waiting....
