Well.... I survived my first day of practicum in the Central Sterile Processing department at the horsepiddle (aka hospital). It went good. I cleaned A LOT of stuff. I never realized just how much stuff was in a case cart. There's so many different kinds, and all sorts of instruments and different ways to ensure that they're clean. I loved sending items through the tunnel washers. Hopefully I'll do good this week. Next week I get to move on to Assembly. (Sounds right). Today was the first day of my 8 weeks. I'm glad that I got to move up on the list and don't have to go last now. I'm thinking that when I'm done with practicum that I'll probably head up to visit my dad for my birthday, his, and Easter. I know that he'd like that A LOT! I miss him. I haven't seen him since last August. *sigh*
Well.... that's about all I've got for now, so I'm going to scoot.
