Today marks my 5th wedding anniversary to my hubby, Shawn. It was a HOT day when we got married, and it's a HOT day again today. lol The only difference is, we have air conditioning now.
I'm a bit sad tonight cause Shawn has to work late. He booked today off, but didn't get it. He's working 5pm - 12am. *le sigh* We didn't let it screw up our plans for today too badly. We had a great morning.... sat outside on the balcony drinking coffee. Then we went out for lunch to Firestone (where he works). I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, comes with sweet potato fries and baked beans and the sandwich has crispy fried onions on the top. YUMMO! Shawn had the Buffalo Chicken Sliders.... 3 mini buffalo chicken sandwiches, a tiny pail of fries, and a WHOLE jalapeno pepper on each slider. hehehe We also shared some onion rings and had a beer each. After lunch we went to the gym to make appointments with personal trainers. We start that on Monday. EEEK! I'm already sore just thinking of it.
I think tonight I'll just work on my knitting and probably clean up here in the living room. It needs it BADLY! I also need to finish up in the kitchen.
Not sure what else needs to be said about today, so I'll leave it at that.
